Moffat’s mistake

I’m literally going out of the door, but I really had to post because I just figured out why Moffat went so wrong with the character Moriarty. Moriarty was not supposed to appear in the Great Game according to a Moffat interview I read. The villain was gay Jim. Because they liked the actor’s portrayal of him, they turned him into Moriarty.

This is why Moriarty, the villain who stays in the shadows and kills people for revealing just his voice shows himself to John and Sherlock. This obsessive fan Gay Jim / Moriarty confusion must be why Moriarty kills himself at the end as well.

Gay Jim would enjoy having a lover’s suicide with Sherlock. For Moriarty it was a mistake.

Just my thoughts.
